“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these (Mark 10:14b NIV).” These compelling words of our Lord Christ are the fundamental basis for this ministry at Hesperia Community Church. As we embark on the daily routines of life with our children it is easy to lose sight of what they truly are- our future. Our little ones are the laborers, the teachers, the governmental leaders - and yes, the spiritual leaders of tomorrow. It is with this in mind that our church family is committed first and foremost to providing our children with a strong foundation in the Holy Word of God. Unlike the overwhelming worldly instruction of modern America, Biblical training will give children a handle on the many questions of life. Questions that ask how to live, how to behave, and what to believe, in this world will boggle the human intellect from our first step to our last breath, without exposure to the higher instruction that is the Scriptures. This is the goal of Children’s Ministries at Hesperia Community Church: To raise children up in the Lord, and instruct them in the way they should go. There is no greater calling than to share the Word of God with others…there is no greater sharing, than to share that same Word with a child.
